This 37 year old mother of four children presented with complaints of loss of breast volume and projection, as well as increased abdominal roundness and fullness after childbirth. The photographs on the right show the patient 8 months after simultaneous bilateral breast augmentation with silicone gel implants and a circumferential lipoabdominoplasty procedure to correct abdominal muscle laxity and contour her waistline.

A 48 year old mother of two presented with persistent abdominal fat deposits and an unattractive abdominal contour after an earlier attempt by another cosmetic surgeon to correct theses problems by a ‘miniabdominoplasty’ procedure. The set of postoperative photos on the right show the patient’s marked improvement after a more thorough lipoabdominoplasty to improve the entire waistline. Liposculpting techniques were used to give the patient’s abdomen a more athletic appearance as can be especially seen in the oblique postoperative photographs.
